I wondered why my bedroom pc takes a while to boot and noticed it stops after it recognises the 2nd sata port for a minute then goes to the 4th sata port not recognising the 3rd.
What I also noticed was that if I remove side of case so the cables have more slack the items plugged into the 3rd sata port work each time until they are moved back. I looked at the slot and noticed its not snug in and wobbls about and I managed to pull it off and there was no bent pins so I assume something is shorting out?
