I have an old matx mobo with a Q6600 and 6870 and it seems to run warmer than I think it should on idle, not by much but I want it to be cool and easy to access..
I have 2 atx cases in the cupboard unused which also have mounts for case fans so I am thinking this will keep the pc that much cooler and stop the fans sounding like a hoover on and getting even louder and warmer just using youtube.
My motherboard just died and I was thinking instead of putting it in the small case to put it in the larger one, as well as a spare q6600 and motherboard I have and other parts just wondered if it was worth it.
