Getting down installation size of Windows?

Over the past 2 years I have been doing various things like getting integrated discs, or making my own which helped at first with install size though that may of been due to windows update caches.

It used to be after a Windows install on either of my desktops it started at 19 gig and after a few updates that only would of come to 200 meg max it went up to around 30 gig usage, when I started using integrated discs it went down to about 24 gig usage until just before christmas when usage started to go back up to 29 gig again.

I used guides to delete old things like wndows update cache and the biggest one was hibernation which seemed to take off around 8-10 gig space however since updates in January disabling hibernate does not give back any hard drive space at all and its back up to 29 gig on both my desktops though my laptop seems to be 19 gig.

I know its not the end of the world its just I want the drive to have less bloat on it as possible
