I had a spare 1M Cat6 ethernet cable and I cut one end off how do I hook it up to a RJ12 as in whats the cable layout? Would I connect cable 2 - 7 and leave out 1 and 8 or would I connect it by 1 - 6 and leave out 7 - 8 (White/brown and brown pair).
(RJ45 end in the master socket, RJ11/12 end in modem):)
