Out of the box when I installed it I heard the fans go full blast, I checked Hwmonitor and noticed 2 entries for fans, just "fans" and "fanspwm" the pwm entry was set to 32% but the rpm entry was 0 rpm
I took card apart and and same time replaced the stock paste as it was so thin I could see the writing on the chip, I tested it for 2 hours before bed and it was fine, rebooted a few times fine, I accidently knocked out a case fan cable and sata cable for blu ray when I put card in so put them back and tried for another 30 minutes and no problem.
When I got back from lan last night I had no problem with the graphics card but my wireless card(which has a habit of dying all the time) did not work but left it to I got up today and tried to get my wireless card working.
The graphics card fans still worked no problem but took a few attemps to get wireless card working.
I finally got wireless card working so put side of case back on to find, the fan rpm set as 0 again.
The only good thing is unlike when I first installed it, back then the fans went full whack, now they are going at a normal speed.
I just worry that if I am in a demanding game the fans wont kick in and card will overheat.
