My 6870 is in bedroom pc, with both a hdtv and a old crt for older stuff and I want to use it for emulation mostly since pre 128 bit games look bad on hd tvs and since my original xbox is not powerful enough to play ps1 or n64 or certain arcade games well and I dislike the controller for it I want just to use my pc for it.
Of course rgb scart would be ideal but convertors I have tried have been awful as they output 50hz not pal 60 or ntsc so there is huge amounts of screen tearing and lag, and I do not have the DIY skills to make a vga to scart cable.
Anyway my older 4870 that I sold to a friend had s video but my 6870 just has dual dvi and hdmi on it so need to get it work on a SD TV
