New pc crashes randomly.

I got one for uni which they purchased from PC World(big mistake) they did have the wrong cpu in in i.e 3770 instead of 3770k but everything else seemed ok.

First thing I did was put in my Ocz StealthXstream psu, add a 2nd hard drive then try it.

It kept on blue screening, mostly when I opened something on 2nd hard drive like Steam, but even if I left it on desktop it crashed but it took longer, and normally when it did crash, it would basically boot up then crash almost instant, then go in that pattern until I switched it off for a while. I then changed power supply for a Corsair CX600 and even tried a different graphics card and it still crashed.

I updated to 8.1 and was even worse so did a fresh 8.1 full install from own discs and removed the hard drive that came with it so it was 2 of my own drives to cut down possibility the hard drive that came with it was damaged.

Now its "working" much better, but still eventually crashes after being on for a period, I used it for about a hour just browsing and it didnt crash once, then went through living room and used ftp to transfer files and it froze without a blue screen

Not sure if its a ram hard drive or motherboard problem, since it seems to crash quicker when using the 2nd hard drive, but does freeze on idle, or similar its related to how because its idle when it then gets access it crashes.
