My google-fu has let me down as I can't find anything relevant online so I'm hoping the good people of Kustom have some insights...
I have a Windows 8.1 PC (a tasty little NUC model for reference) running headless in a remote location.
I access this PC using remote desktop from my Windows 7 machine at work and also my Windows 7 machine at home.
On both PCs I have the RDP connection set up to use 1280x800 as the screen resolution. In practice though, moving from my home PC to my work PC the windows on the RDP session are different sizes and I can't for the life of me figure out why?
To clarify if I connect at home, maximise all the windows and disconnect the session I start at work will show windows smaller than the full screen. The reverse happens when I go home.
Bizarre.
Ideas anyone?
For reference my work PC runs at a desktop resolution of 1920x1200 while my home PC is running at 2560x1600 but this shouldn't make a difference as I'm forcing the RDP session to 1280x800.
