Buying Windows 7 - is it genuine?

As mentioned in one of my other posts, I have been unable to access the internet using my genuine Windows XP disc so installed Linux Lite.



This, however, has many short comings such as inability to load AOL as my default browser (essential) and the inability to install Yahoo Messenger. Up to this morning I was unable to login in to the National Lottery websites but Camelot have apparently sorted this (their website saw me as not residing in the UK).



If I buy Windows 7 on ebay for around. £38.00, will it will be the genuine version, will it be suitable for my laptop and will it have all the features of the full priced £120.00+ version.



I think I need the 32 bit version for my Toshiba Satellite Pro.



I have my suspicions but need someones advice.
